About Burgermap

Maps help people find things.   BurgerMap helps people find burgers.

Here's the idea:

  • You have a burger place that you like.
  • You'd like to tell other people who like burgers about this burger place you like.
  • You post it on BurgerMap.
  • When enough people post enough burger joints, no one will ever be more than 10 minutes away from one of the best burgers they've ever had, ever again.

Here's how it works:

  • Click "Submit A Burger" above.
  • Fill out the form.
  • Put in as much information as you find helpful.
  • Post.

Ground rules:

  • No chains!  We don''t need BurgerMap to find a BK, McDonalds, or for that matter a Five Guys or In N Out. This doesn''t mean that any place with more than one location is necessarily out - we don''t want to penalize our favorite burgistas for their success! Use your judgement. Rule of thumb: If there are more than 5 of them; if they have a corporate headquarters; if someone from another time zone has one in their backyard; DON'T SUBMIT IT.
  • Keep it real! Be honest with your reviews. Be civil with your comments. We're all in this together.

 Future goals:
  • better interface
  • mobile apps for both submitting reports and finding burgers
  • autosearch on the site for close burger joints as well.
